Accessories You Can Wear Year-Round + Jord Wood Watch Review
Knowing that I am not the MOST fashionable young woman on the streets, I decided to own what makes me Miss Lynn and show you all how I express myself most with, you guessed it, accessories!
Of course, the majority of this post will be reviewing and obsessing over my new Jord Wood Watch, but, if you scroll towards the bottom I’m also sharing some of my favorite accessories that are perfect to show off year-round!
Without further ado let me introduce to you my current favorite and first wood watch that was generously sent to me from Jord!
First things first, I need you all to know how surprisingly in love I am with the idea and look of a ‘wood watch.’ I may be lame, but I’ve never actively searched for a style like the one pictured, yet, as I wear it more and more, I can’t believe I didn’t think about investing in one sooner!
If you head over to Jord’s Website, you would be able to find mine here, under the Frankie 35 Series. With stunning wood and watch-face color options, there were plenty to choose from for every look, style and color preference.
My exact watch was created with Zebrawood, one of their many options among a wide variety including; Bamboo, Maple, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Walnut, Olive and a few others. In terms of the face color, I chose the Navy blue with literally the rainbow, and then some, to choose from.
Not only is the watch beautiful, but it is STURDY. The clasp is easy to unlock and fasten using one hand (which is always a plus) and the wood itself is both thick, yet smooth, and gentle on the skin!
As you can see in the image above, the magnetic wooden box was large and roomy enough to fit an adorable mini pillow with a drawer at the very bottom to hold a pack of their two-way humidity control.
Along with the humidity control, I received a small pamphlet explaining how to best care for the watch, two small towels for polishing and cleaning, along with an extra link and a small tube of natural finishing oil.
When wearing the watch, I noticed how well it went with just about every outfit I put together within a week—whether it was a casual outfit to class, lazy workout clothes or a more ‘dressy’ getup. I can appreciate its universality and even how gender-neutral each watch can be!
Whether you’re looking for a more feminine woman’s watch or masculine men’s watch, each style has the ability to genuinely look good on ANYONE.

Moving on with a few other accessories that I can’t get enough of year-round, I have to start with my beloved necklaces that are worn at least once per week. Purchased from H&M, Forever 21, and Earthbound Trading Co., I like to wear delicate and generally tiny necklaces in either gold or rose gold. (I am personally NOT a silver girl).
Along with necklaces and the occasional ‘dangly’ bracelet, I’m also into hoop earrings and the versatile ‘diamond’ stud. (If the ‘diamond’ earrings pictured below were real diamonds I would be on a yacht in Greece right now).
In my opinion, dainty necklaces and hoop earrings are a universal accessory to wear in every season. Whether I have a scarf that’s bigger than my head hanging around my neck, or a tank top with shorts and flip flops, these necklaces and earrings below are a "go-to."
I also believe that a light and colorful or bright scarf can make it through any seasons' 'fashion trend.' Staying away from the olive green and maroons’ (because I mentally set those colors aside for my favorite season, fall), a nice white or neutral gray/brown goes well with a light cardigan and jeans in the spring or a heavy jacket and boots in the winter.
